Verve’s (now known as Pollen) has a unique culture which emphasises personal accountability and autonomy. Building a company on these values requires staff to have strong personal connections in order to collaborate, which monthly internal magazines and activities are designed to emphasise.
Starting in 2016 I was a key contributor on to The Verve internal magazine, writing articles and managing content operations. I also helped create initiatives to reinforce the talent brand, including onboarding materials and team events.
Since 2016 Verve has seen steady improvements in all staff metrics, including staff engagement, retention and how inspiring they find colleagues. In 2019 I led the company-wide rebrand of Verve to Pollen.
